The affiliated Zhongda Hospital of Southeast University was founded in 1935. Its predecessor is the Affiliated Hospital of the Medical College of Central University. It has gone through several important historical stages, such as the Affiliated Hospital of the fifth Military Medical University, the 84 Hospital of the PLA and the Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Railway Medical College. After 83 years of development, it has become a large-scale comprehensive teaching hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. It is the only university affiliated hospital directly under the Ministry of education of Jiangsu Province, which is the key construction of "double first class", "985" and "211" projects. It is also the first batch of comprehensive class III class A hospitals approved by the Ministry of health of Jiangsu Province.
Since 2008, the reproductive medicine center of Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University has carried out the technology of artificial insemination by husband and sperm, and started the trial operation of in vitro fertilization technology in 2016. In 2017, it passed the national review and officially obtained the operation qualification of assisted reproductive technology. The center includes clinical diagnosis and treatment, embryo laboratory, medical examination and other units, providing artificial insemination by husband and sperm (AIH), in vitro fertilization embryo The person in charge of each unit has worked in the field of assisted reproduction for more than 10 years, with rich experience and mastering the first-line advanced technology. In the past two years, under the leadership of Liang yuanjiao, the discipline leader, the number of outpatient services and IVF cycles has steadily increased, and the clinical pregnancy rate has reached more than 60%.
