The research fields are art sociology, art theory and aesthetic theory. At 7:00 p.m. on April 26, the first lecture of "art and technology" series of Art College - the art creation of artificial intelligence was successfully held. In this lecture, Lu Wenchao, the vice president of our institute, was invited to share with us the hot issues in the art creation of artificial intelligence at this stage.
Mr. Lu starts with the poem of robot Xiaobing, and lists a series of paintings created by artificial intelligence based on wind speed, wind direction and gust mode of Linz airport, and Edmund Bellamy, a painting by obvious, a French art organization, to give you a preliminary introduction to the art works under artificial intelligence.
Considering the art creation of artificial intelligence and human art creation, is there any difference between them and what is the difference? Mr. Lu introduced the differences and similarities between AI works and products to students in simple and easy to understand language, and made a distinction between them according to people's participation degree and participation mode, pointing out that AI works are "works of art like".
Lu cites Danto's nine red squares, two Don Quixote, two scholars and other classic cases to explain the relationship between context and art form in detail. He believes that even though the form of two art works is the same, due to the different context, art works will show different meanings.

Because artificial intelligence is based on the form of external beauty produced by permutation and combination, it can not produce rich and deep aesthetic feeling. Therefore, in the competition with artificial intelligence, artists should not indulge in the pursuit of external forms, but strengthen the relationship between forms and life, make human art creation more unique and irreplaceable, and make art works full of human feelings and dignity.
Finally, Mr. Lu analyzed the development and future of AI works from four perspectives: curator, collector, auction house and art history, and pointed out two trends of AI art creation: first, emphasizing the subjectivity of human art creation, using AI as an auxiliary tool for art creation; second, changing the concept of subjectivity of art creation, and integrating AI art creation into it The current art system.
