Historical evolution
It originated from Sanjiang normal school in 1902.
In 1952, with the former Nanjing University Institute of technology as the main body, Nanjing Institute of technology was incorporated into the related departments of Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Jinling University, etc., and Nanjing Institute of technology was established at the original site of the headquarters of Central University; in 1988, it was renamed Southeast University;
In 2000, the former Southeast University, Nanjing Railway Medical College and Nanjing Transportation College were merged, and Nanjing Geological School was merged to form a new Southeast University. "211 Project" and "985 Project", the national key universities directly under the Ministry of education, the famous old eight schools of architecture and one of the original four engineering colleges.
