On the morning of April 30, 2020, sun Zilin, Professor of Southeast University School of medicine, and Guo Haijian, deputy director of provincial basic public health service technical guidance center for disease control, visited our district for investigation. The main purpose of this trip is to investigate the construction of diabetes specialty at the grassroots level and the implementation of diabetes "two screening and three prevention". Professor Sun Zilin is a doctoral supervisor and director of Diabetes Institute of Southeast University. He is also a member of the endocrine branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the endocrine metabolism branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the chairman of the diabetes and microcirculation Professional Committee of the Chinese Microcirculation society, and the former chairman of the diabetes branch of the Jiangsu Medical Association. He has successively won the honors of leading medical talents in Jiangsu Province, medical experts trusted by the people, Chinese doctors of public praise, chief experts in science and technology communication in Jiangsu Province, and national excellent scientific and technological workers. Currently, he is the editorial board member of BMC medicine, diabetes and diabetes journal, China Diabetes journal, etc. In the pathogenesis of chronic complications of diabetes mellitus and intervention strategies; diabetes islet dysfunction and the cellular and molecular mechanism of islet fibrosis; diabetes screening, education and management mode, and other research has a high attainments.
At the meeting, Yang Bing, vice president of our hospital, gave a special report on the construction of diabetes prevention and control system and the work of "two screening and three prevention" of diabetes in Lishui District in recent two years.
Wang Yijun, vice president of Jingqiao Center Hospital, made a report on diabetes work. After listening to the relevant reports, Professor Sun Zilin elaborated the work content of "two screening and three prevention" of diabetes in our province, introduced the construction of incubation center of basic endocrine characteristic departments in our province, and put forward the suggestions of "healthy Lishui" in chronic disease prevention. Professor Sun emphasized that we should give full play to the system of joint prevention and control, group prevention and control, establish a reproducible working mechanism of "two screening and three prevention" of diabetes, and promote the development of "healthy Lishui".
Lu Huirong, director of the health and Health Committee of our district, had a detailed discussion with Professor Sun Zilin and director Guo Haijian on the development of "healthy Lishui", the integration of medical and health care, the prevention and control of chronic diseases, and the establishment of a national chronic disease demonstration area.
