Introduction:
Qian Xuesen College of Nanjing University of science and technology is the second college in China, and the first honor college in Jiangsu Province named by Mr. Qian Xuesen, the Yuanxun of "two bombs and one star". As the front position of Nanjing University of science and technology in training top-notch innovative talents and the experimental field to further promote the education and teaching reform, the training mode of innovative talents in the college has achieved good education and teaching results, and has trained a large number of high-quality, high-level research-oriented young talents.
This time, we set up the column of "style of alumni" and invited all the outstanding alumni to share their growth and development experience, so as to guide the students in the school to move forward and create a brilliant future together!
In 2017, there were 104 graduates from Qian Xuesen college, 86% of whom went to University of Pennsylvania, University of California, San Diego, New York University, University of Melbourne, National University of Singapore and other first-class well-known universities at home and abroad for further study.

Do a good job of Engineering Research of social value
Self driving and energy management are two research directions for me to study vehicle engineering. The reason is very simple. The former is safe and friendly to people, while the latter is energy-saving and natural friendly. However, regardless of the hot or cold direction, there are impetuous business behaviors and calm and objective scientific research.
Scientific research is not an urgent thing. Qian Yuanren, who aims at engineering scientists, should be more specific about their goals and responsibilities, learn the theoretical basis on a down-to-earth basis, and study deeply with patience, so as to gradually influence or even change the world we live in. In addition, it is also a very meaningful thing to popularize relevant knowledge within the scope of our ability.

Enrich your life with limited time
When we first entered the University, we all hoped to become better ourselves through the University for four years, but often at the beginning, we were accompanied by confusion. Here are some tips for younger students.
First, try to set a small goal. Think about what kind of people you want to be and what kind of life you want to live. There is no difference between high and low choices, but choosing some more challenging goals can make us experience more possibilities of life on the road of growth.
Second, develop good habits. Make a tentative and feasible plan based on the selected goal, try to stick to it, and one day, you will find that the habit has been formed.
Third, do a good job in time management. Arrange your own time, use your own time more efficiently, never waste your time, and you will not envy others how rich their life is.
Fourth, maintain a positive attitude. Love life, love what you do, face it with a positive and optimistic attitude, and believe that everything will be OK.

There is a saying in Yanzi's spring and Autumn Period: those who are always successful will always come. Clear direction, for their own interest in the matter of unremitting pay, there will always be gains.
At the same time, we should balance the relationship between ourselves and the outside world, and take seriously all the things that are worth cherishing around us. Don't just pursue results. If you only seek results, you will easily lose yourself in the process of finding shortcuts, and even your enthusiasm will gradually lose. I hope that students can meet outsiders, see mountains and mountains, grow up and harvest along the way.
