On the afternoon of March 26, 257 students from grade C19 of Tsinghua affiliated high school attended two online graphene science lectures brought by Professor Gao Chao of Zhejiang University and Professor Sun Litao of Southeast University.
Professor Gao Gao Gao is an expert in graphene research. He explained the discovery, structure, advantages and application of graphene in detail for the students attending the lecture. Graphene is widely used in various fields because of its special properties, and its application is still in constant innovation. In the course of the lecture, the students listened carefully and actively answered the questions raised by Professor Gao Gao Gao. Among them, Cao Jiamin, Ren Ziming, Guo Ruiyan, Luo Yichi, Wang Zhaoyi and Wang Yuguo from class 1, class 11 and class 15 won the prize for their outstanding performance in the contest. After the lecture, Professor Sun Litao of Southeast University analyzed the function and application of graphene masks for students. In the lecture, Professor Sun also talked about the development history of masks and made a comparison of various masks. During the epidemic period, masks became a familiar epidemic prevention partner. Students were more interested in graphene masks. In the interactive area, various problems of graphene masks were discussed. Students have questions and answers. They have expanded their knowledge in mutual discussion. Even the teachers who attended the lecture joined in the discussion. Yang Yuxuan from class 9 and Li Jiaze from class 10 won the prize. This spirit of knowledge exploration will surely lead students to go further and further on the road of science.
