However, at present, there are problems in the source side, network side and load side of the large-scale development of urban areas: first, large-scale uncontrollable new energy access, which is difficult to achieve local and efficient energy consumption; second, the energy network in some areas is relatively weak, with a long energy supply radius, and the quality of power supply needs to be improved; third, the load is not centralized, the amount of energy pipeline construction is large, it is difficult to enter the home, the cost is high, and the investment is high Low return. The research on the key technologies of the distributed multi energy complementary energy system is of positive significance to fully utilize the schedulable resources of the distribution network to meet the demand of multi energy flow, realize the efficient utilization of comprehensive energy, the reliable supply of energy and the effective consumption of clean energy, reduce the impact of multi energy access on the power grid, and promote the clean, safe, convenient and high-quality use of energy.
In order to display the latest progress in this field at home and abroad and exchange academic and technical achievements, the editorial department of China power specially invited China Electric Power Research Institute Professor Wu Ming of Shanghai Energy Internet Research Institute of State Grid and Professor Gu Wei of Southeast University are invited as special editors. Relevant experts and research institutions are invited to write special articles, and a column of "key technologies of distributed multi energy complementary energy system in urban areas" is organized. Experts, scholars and researchers in relevant fields are welcome to write actively, and jointly promote the deepening of relevant research and technological progress.

Gu Wei, male, born in 1981, doctor, Professor, doctoral supervisor. Assistant dean of School of electrical engineering, Southeast University, director of Institute of distributed generation and active distribution network. Mainly engaged in power system operation control, renewable energy access technology, distributed generation and micro grid, distribution network and integrated energy system research.
