The 2020 annual meeting of the China World Economic Association will be held in the school of economics and management, Southeast University from October 24 to 25, 2020. The theme of the meeting is: the new pattern of world economy and the new strategy of China's economic opening up.
The annual meeting will invite famous experts and scholars both inside and outside the society to give keynote speeches on the world economy and China's economy issues of general concern.
The annual meeting will be divided into several sub forums according to disciplines and outstanding issues:
1. Great changes in the past century and new trends in the evolution of the world economic pattern
2. China's foreign trade development in the context of the new Sino US economic and trade relations
3. New crown epidemic and the trend of Globalization
4. New trend of global value chain development and China's industrial transformation and upgrading
5. Free trade zone construction and high quality utilization of foreign direct investment
6. Expand the opening of financial service industry and coordinate macroeconomic policies
7. "one belt, one road" construction and China's foreign investment pattern
8. Reform of global economic governance system and high level development of China's open economy
During the annual meeting, the youth forum of China World Economic Association will be held at the same time, and the notice of solicitation will be issued separately.
Members of the Chinese society of world economics and interested participants are welcome to choose the corresponding annual conference forum according to the theme and content of their papers. The Organizing Committee of the annual meeting will select the submitted papers and send out invitations accordingly. August 20, 2020 is the deadline for papers.
The Organizing Committee of the annual meeting advocates and encourages all contributors to choose the standard style and format of the world economy (Academic Theory Journal) or international economic review (Policy Review Journal) of the society to write papers according to the positioning of their papers. The organizing committee will comprehensively evaluate and recommend the best papers to the editorial board of the above journals to enter the review process.
