A series of hydroxyl acrylic emulsion were prepared by using methyl methacrylate as rigid monomer, butyl acrylate as soft monomer and hydroxyethyl methacrylate as functional monomers. The effects of monomer ratio, acid value and hydroxyl value on the properties and curing properties of hydroxyl acrylic emulsion were studied, and reliable process parameters were obtained. Following the development trend of the market and adhering to the concept of green sustainable development, Beitel chemical has developed a series of single and two-component products with high transparency, high fullness and good color sealing, which can be applied in many fields such as furniture paint, renovation paint, outdoor paint, handicraft paint, etc.
