Lexomer A-18 is a bisexual surfactant which is used for copolymerization of vinyl acetate or acrylic ester with other monomers. It can be used as the main emulsifier for monomer pre emulsification, and can also be used as emulsifier for bottom emulsion. In the conventional polymerization process, if the AG51 is used together, the polymer emulsion with fine particle size can be obtained. Lexomer A-18 has excellent solubility and dispersion properties, good compatibility with high electrolyte, low agglomeration, excellent mechanical stability and low foam properties, and can produce low odor, high solid content and transparent film emulsion products.
Application characteristics
Lexomer A-18 can be used as emulsifier for styrene, acrylic ester, methacrylate and vinyl acetate emulsion, and the amount of active ingredient is 0.5-5%.
Lexomer A-18 has excellent control ability for particle size and particle size distribution, and little gel generated in emulsion synthesis. At the same time, lexomer A-18 has the characteristics of low foam and strong electrolyte resistance.
? lexomer A-18 can be used for the emulsification of organic solvents, oils, waxes and hydrocarbons to obtain stable low viscosity emulsions with a dosage of about 1-20g / L.
? lexomer A-18 can also be used as a dispersant in pigments to form a stable dispersion system with low viscosity. The dosage is 15-80% of the pigment weight.
