About the application
Going abroad and school selection
I feel that going abroad can cultivate my ability in a more three-dimensional way. Generally speaking, we can get the old international vision and understanding of other cultures. From my personal professional point of view, many western colleges and universities in the sense of landscape research is more distinct and mature than in China, and it has a certain forward-looking reference significance for the development of domestic landscape. Studying abroad can provide me with a different perspective to recognize my major.
If I'm lucky enough to be admitted by HKU, I will struggle between HKU and polimi again. If I choose polimi among the two offers now, I feel that the active artistic atmosphere in Milan attracts me very much. Besides architecture, I'm also doing some multimedia work, and I'm looking forward to communicating with creators in different fields. In addition, polimi's cost of studying abroad is also very conscientious. Saving some money can do a lot of things.
In mid June, I started to prepare the work collection. At the beginning, I didn't have any idea about the preparation of the work collection. I don't know how to choose the topic. The teacher's guidance and communication with the students in this part of the works collection have a great impact on me.
Language preparation
Solid review, language sense is no pains, no gains. I'm a bit impatient, so the final result is just like that, but as long as I do it patiently and solidly, I can always get good results. Also, the earlier the language is prepared, the better. It's hard to fully step down to see the language after you devote yourself to the collection.
Competition and Practice
The two competitions I participated in during my undergraduate course were all based on actual construction, which brought me two relatively big gains. One is to let me directly feel how much work we need to consider between the conceptual design of the school and the actual implementation of the project. The impact of our design on reality will be more three-dimensional and diversified than originally imagined.
Another achievement is to let me realize my own ability and specialty. In these two competitions, I have undertaken the work of a similar team leader. I feel that I am better at organizing and coordinating the work of all parties. I feel that this may have some significance for my choice of specific work in the future.
After three months of internship in our school's Design Institute, in addition to having an intuitive understanding of the specific content of the industry's work in the Design Institute, the biggest thing should be the friendship with colleagues.

About the work
Project ideas
The basic idea of this project is to design a series of residential modules in a system based on the living habits of contemporary people, and then combine these modules into a community. In the process of design, we combine some technology development trends that we are very interested in.
Project highlights
In fact, there are many things that can be expanded in terms of the completion and depth of this project from the perspective of the conventional urban design field, but this project is very interesting for me personally. Try to have some combination with the current unmanned logistics, the development of Internet economy, these social hot spots.
Project introduction
The project is supposed to reconstruct a typical and problematic high-rise commercial and residential dual-use house in Tianjin. Because of the high population density and the lack of elevators, the internal living conditions have deteriorated, resulting in a series of problems. This program combines the development of the logistics industry and the change of the lifestyle of the contemporary people, trying to provide a new era of living mode.
Practical problems concerned in the project
One is the development of UAV logistics industry. The other is the pressure on urban infrastructure such as urban transportation system caused by the continuous increase of urban population density. It is hoped that such a design can generate a response to both problems.

About individuals
Q: What do you think of landscape design?
A: Landscape feeling is an art form with high degree of freedom and various forms, and it is playing an increasingly important role in improving people's higher level of life quality. There is a lot of space for free creation in learning and working in the field of landscape. But it may be because of the degree of freedom that the theoretical system of landscape is not as clear as that of urban planning / architecture. At present, the direction of landscape development in China is still a little fuzzy and so on (a large part of the reason for this feeling is that my level is not enough, ha ha). I hope that the future study can make me have a deeper understanding.
Q: What's your favorite book?
A: Russell's "road to happiness" has been read many times. This book systematically introduces Russell's understanding of happiness and guides me to let me know what I really want.
Q: What hobbies do you usually have?
A: Photography is my second career. If you don't apply to the school you like, you may be transferred to video industry. The image feeling is developed under the support of technology, which is an artistic way with strong expressiveness. I feel that there is great potential for development, and I enjoy it as a hobby. At present, I also work part-time in a film and television media company. I made some films I like.

Q: Who is the tutor in LAC and what is the greatest help to you?
A: My tutor is Tang Hongya, graduated from UCL, who has a wide understanding of urban design. What impresses me most is that he said not only to think about what urban design should be, but also to think about what urban design might be. Many of the projects that I have done in school are focused on how to develop my own specific design ability and learn "qualified" skills in some aspects. During lac's work collection, I opened up a lot of ideas, gave me the opportunity to face some social problems that I was really interested in, and made some attempts that I had not thought about before. It was still very interesting.
Q: What experiences do you want to share?
A: One is to start as early as possible, which will have a very positive impact on the specific work rhythm and mentality of the whole application process.
Second, we should fully investigate the school and communicate with other people. Before that, I wanted to apply to HKU. It is in the process of communication and understanding with students that many interesting projects are slowly discovered. One's own cognition is always limited. Communicating with others more may get unexpected and valuable information.
Q: Is there anyone you want to thank?
A: The most important thing to thank is my parents, who have always supported my choice and provided guarantee for my study; then Mr. Tang Hongya, who has given me a lot of help and guidance in the whole application process; and the little partners who applied together in the same session, who have communicated with each other and encouraged me to keep a good attitude in the application process as a whole.
