Hydroxysilicone oil, due to its terminal hydroxyl activity, has become a key intermediate for organic silicon modification:
Fabric finishing: After emulsification, it is used for softening cotton and linen fabrics, and the washing fastness is improved to more than 15 times.
Silicone rubber processing: As a structural control agent, it inhibits the structuring of white carbon black and extends the storage period of rubber materials.
Crosslinking of sealant: In combination with organotin catalyst, it enhances the curing speed and mechanical properties of silicone sealant.
Leather coating: Reacts with isocyanates to enhance leather feel and flexibility.
