Silicone oil has - Si-O-Si - as the main chain, and functional groups such as methyl, phenyl, and amino can be introduced into the side chains, endowing it with unique properties. Its molecular helical conformation makes viscosity minimally affected by temperature and has a low viscosity temperature coefficient; High Si-O bond energy and strong aging resistance; Low surface tension, combining lubricity and anti viscosity; Excellent electrical insulation, with a breakdown voltage resistance of tens of kilovolts. In addition, silicone oil has physiological inertness, chemical stability, and good transparency. Some modified products can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -60 ℃ to 300 ℃.

Aerospace: Phenyl silicone oil is used as a sealing material for spacecraft, resistant to cosmic radiation and extreme temperature differences; Fluorosilicone oil is used as an aviation fuel sealant to resist fuel corrosion.
