Building silicone oil: dual role of sealing waterproofing and structural protection
Silicone oil (silicone sealant) used in curtain wall engineering has a tensile strength of 1.8MPa and a displacement capacity of ± 25%, meeting the JG/T 475-2015 standard. In concrete demoulding, 0.2% silicone oil lotion can shorten the demoulding time from 24 hours to 8 hours, and improve the surface finish by one grade. A landmark building case shows that the silicone oil waterproof coating reduces the roof leakage rate from 12% to 0.5% and reduces maintenance costs by 75%.
