Silicone oil can be divided into six categories based on its chemical structure: methyl silicone oil, phenyl silicone oil, amino silicone oil, etc. Functional modification includes polyether modification, epoxy modification, and other types. The performance differences of different silicone oils determine their application scenarios:


Basic silicone oil (such as dimethyl silicone oil): Low cost (19-40 yuan/kg), widely used in electronic heat dissipation, cosmetics, hair conditioners, mold release agents and other fields.
High end modified silicone oil (such as amino silicone oil): priced at 60-85 yuan/kg, it is used in cutting-edge fields such as aerospace and high-end electronic packaging due to its strong adsorption and interfacial bonding ability.
Data support: By 2025, domestic DMC (silicone oil raw material) prices will rebound to 13400-13800 yuan/ton, and the industry will balance supply and demand through a strategy of reducing production and stabilizing prices, reflecting the technological premium and cost game in the silicone oil market.
