The organic silicone wetting silicone oil can quickly wet various difficult-to-adhere substrates, thereby enhancing the bonding strength of the coating. Traditional wetting agents can only improve the adhesion of a single material. The modified polyether silicone oil is compatible with various substrates such as steel, aluminum alloy, PP plastic, and cement mortar, and can penetrate the fine pores of the substrate, allowing the coating to closely adhere to the base material and avoiding peeling and falling off in the later stage.
A small amount of this IOTA substrate wetting silicone oil can be added in the coating of plastic casings, metal anti-rust primers, and floor mortar paints. This can eliminate the repulsion and shrinkage holes caused by substrate oil stains, and the coating film can completely cover the substrate. When used with color pigments, it can improve the uniformity of the dispersion of inorganic and organic pigments, avoiding color bleeding and mottling, and significantly reducing the color difference.
IOTA substrate wetting silicone oil is compatible with all water-based, UV, and solvent-based systems. Even with a low addition amount, it does not affect the hardness and gloss of the coating film. The factory has already purchased and used it for household appliance plastic paints and automotive component primers. The rate of coating film detachment and scrapping has decreased by more than 50%, effectively reducing the loss of factory raw materials and rework costs.
