In terms of application performance, water-based silicone oil has strong versatility and can be adapted to mainstream high-speed coating machines, immersion equipment, and sizing equipment on the market. Enterprises can directly start production without modifying the production line, and can meet various modification requirements such as release protection, paper waterproofing, soft base material, and surface anti-slip. After curing, it forms a uniform and fine silicone-based functional film, completely retaining the core advantages of silicone oil such as water repellency, anti-adhesion, softness, and wear resistance. At the same time, it avoids the common appearance defects of solvent-based silicone oil such as fogging, shrinkage, rainbow patterns, and poor adhesion. It significantly improves the appearance texture and quality consistency of paper products.
The product application scenarios are wide. Label release paper, food waterproof packaging paper, art card paper, furniture moisture-proof paper, and cultural specialty paper can all be used stably. After modification, the paper retains good air permeability, printing performance, and degradability, and does not affect subsequent processes such as hot stamping, lamination, die-cutting, and printing. It also takes into account environmental protection and practicality.
Industry statistics show that in the past two years, the purchase growth rate of water-based environmental-friendly additives in the paper industry has exceeded 26% annually. Water-based silicone oil has completely replaced traditional solvent-based products and become the mainstream.
