Stability of Dimethicone Anionic Emulsion
As a fabric softener, the electrolyte resistance stability of dimethylpolysiloxane anionic dilute emulsion is of great significance for practical application.
However, there are very few reports on this aspect, and there is no report on the effect of nonionic and anionic surfactants on its electrolyte aggregation stability. The critical aggregation concentration CCC refers to the concentration of the electrolyte when the emulsion completely loses its stability. , which is an important parameter to measure the stability of emulsion resistance to electrolyte. In this work, the critical agglomeration concentration of electrolytes of dimethicone anionic dilute emulsions was determined, and the effects of nonionic and anionic surfactants on the coacervation stability were studied.
