Vinyl in methyl vinyl silicone rubber refers to "vinyl end groups". The amount of the terminal functional group corresponds to the amount of the vulcanizing agent added. If the high molecular polymer resin is used as a coating film-forming material, the amount of modified vinyl should correspond to the amount of curing agent added.
As we all know, methyl vinyl silicone rubber (polymer) is polymerized from "methyl vinyl silane". Taking polydimethyldivinylsilane as an example, the vinyl group is a polymerization active group. The two methyl groups are on either side. The linear ends of the polymer "polydimethyldivinylsilane" leave one vinyl group at each end; that is, vinyl end groups.
