Overview
Based on the school of information science and engineering, the College of Electronic Science and engineering, the College of microelectronics and the College of biological science and medical engineering, Southeast University's electronic information major and electronic information major (Wuxi) are jointly established, including 5 undergraduate majors.
Information Engineering, electronic science and technology, biomedical engineering were selected as the national first-class undergraduate professional construction sites in 2019. In the National Undergraduate Education ranking of China Science and education network 2019-2020, information engineering, electronic science and technology, biomedical engineering and bioinformatics are all ranked first in China.

Characteristic advantages
There are four first-class disciplines, namely "information and Communication Engineering", "Electronic Science and technology", "Optical Engineering" and "Biomedical Engineering", all of which have doctoral programs and post doctoral mobile stations. In 2007, "information and Communication Engineering", "Electronic Science and technology" and "Biomedical Engineering" were approved as national first-class key disciplines. In 2017, they were selected into the list of national "double first-class" construction disciplines. Diversion scheme
At the end of the first academic year, electronic information and electronic information (Wuxi) will be divided according to the order of the average grade points of the first major courses that students volunteer and the major teaching plans that students obtain by the time point of diversion.
